When the requirements come from customers
At supplier companies the website is rarely the first thing on the agenda. It becomes so when a major customer asks for evidence: on how easily information can be found, on data protection, increasingly on accessibility, because corporations pass their own obligations along the supply chain.
That changes the priorities. It is less about effect than about being able to show your work: is it documented how the site is built? Can the state of its accessibility be named? Are the data processing activities described properly?
We build with that in view. Configuration in files rather than in database records, an honest accessibility statement with limitations named, traceable processes. Details under BFSG and TYPO3 accessibility.
Running a site without an IT department
The second regional classic: manufacturing is highly specialised, and the IT department is one person who also does the website on the side. That works as long as nothing happens.
So we separate things cleanly. The technical operation runs through maintenance: following security advisories, updates in planned waves, backups with a tested restore. The content stays with you, and the installation is built so that works without a manual.
What genuinely protects and what mainly reassures is set out under securing TYPO3.
Close to Munich, without Munich prices
Landshut is a good hour from Munich and shares its economic area without taking on its cost level. For us it is the easternmost point alongside Regensburg: around three hours’ travel, planned meetings, everything else remote.
